The box of frogs
The rural touring program, which enables cultural events in Shropshire and Herefordshire, has been booked by the Birmingham improvisation group Box of Frogs for two shows at Dodington Lodge.
The comic group has no idea what will happen during the show, with the audience controlling the course of the performance.
Cerin Mills, Live Events Programmer at Arts Alive, said, “The events that take place during the show are based solely on suggestions from the audience. On this day there are two shows on the program – one for the family audience in the afternoon and one for the adults in the evening.
“Expect the unexpected when these quick-witted improvisation stars spontaneously conjure up hilarious songs, skits and scenes. Every performance is completely different – the only certainty is comedic ability in action, “she said.
The group will perform without a script to create a night of comedy Whose Line Is It Anyway with improvised songs, stories and silliness.
Box of Frogs Improv Comedy will be performed at Dodington Lodge on August 7th. There is a family show for children ages 7+ at 3pm with tickets for £ 6 each. The main show takes place at 7.30 p.m. and is suitable for children aged 16 and over. Tickets for this show cost £ 12 for adults and £ 8 for children under 18. Tickets can be purchased at artsalive.co.uk, by calling Dodington Lodge on 01948 662539, or in person at the front desk.
