Land Rover Classic has just unveiled the Defender Works V8 Trophy, which is not only limited to 25 units but also has a unique appeal that not even the current generation Defender can match.
The vehicle is based on the 2012-2016 Defender Works V8 developed by Land Rover Classic, but has a host of improvements and upgrades. These upgrades start with the 5.0 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine massaged to 399 hp and 515 Nm of torque. Coupled to the engine is an eight-speed automatic transmission with a pistol shift, four-wheel drive and a two-speed transfer case. The Defender Works V8 Trophy also includes high-performance front and rear differentials and a torque-biasing center differential.
Land Rover Classic will offer the vehicle in both 90s and 110s, but they will all come in a unique Eastnor Yellow with contrasting Narvik Black accents on the wheel arches, hood and tailgate. Matching 16-inch steel wheels are also standard.
Other modifications of the vehicle compared to the “standard” Defender Works V8 include an all-terrain kit with front winch, multi-point expedition cage, roof rack, underrun protection, A-bracket, increased air intake, LED headlights and mud off-road tires.
The Defender Works V8 Trophy features black Windor leather upholstery with Recaro sports seats, yellow contrasting stitching and a tailor-made Land Rover Trophy dial. The vehicle also features Land Rover Classic’s own Classic Infotainment System, which includes navigation and connectivity for mobile devices.

Limited edition buyers are invited to a three-day adventure in their vehicles at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire. Defender Works V8 Trophy prices start at £ 195,000 (~ $ 270,000) in the UK.
