Unless circumstances force the government to change their route map out of the lockdown, unnecessary shops in Herefordshire will reopen from Monday April 12th.
We’ll be publishing your list of places to reopen in print on Thursday April 8th. Starting today, however, the offers will also go online and advertised through the Hereford Times social media accounts, which reach thousands of locals every day.
All you have to do is submit your details and a picture using the blue button at the bottom of this report. We take care of the rest.
Good luck April 12th! We will toast to a swift return to prosperity for all of our drinking and dining venues.

Non-material companies include:
- Clothing and fashion stores and tailors
- Retail travel agencies
- Housewares stores
- Carpet shops
- Showrooms for kitchen, bathroom, tiles and glazing
- Tobacco and vape shops
- Stores for electronic goods and cell phones
- Charity shops
- Photo studios
- Antique shops
- homeopathic and naturopathic medicine, traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurveda
- Markets (excluding livestock markets or stalls that are included in the list of essential businesses above, e.g. those that sell groceries)
- Auto and other vehicle showrooms and other spaces, including outdoor areas, used for the sale or rental of caravans, boats, or other vehicles that can be propelled by mechanical means. However, taxi or vehicle rentals can continue. For example, a customer could order a rental vehicle online and collect it in person.
