Preview – Chester FC

After winning their first three league contests under the management of Ian Culverhouse, the Pilgrims have suffered successive reversals to Hereford FC, Curzon Ashton and Brackley Town.

Next up for Culverhouse’s side is a home fixture against Calum McIntyre’s Chester, who are currently five points better off than the Pilgrims.

The Pilgrims will be without the services of the injured trio Luke Shiels, Jordan Burrow and Jaanai Gordon.

Defender Jake Hull, meanwhile, has returned to Rotherham United at the end of his month’s loan at the Jakemans Community Stadium.

Last season’s corresponding fixture ended 4-0 to the Pilgrims.
