The Crown Season 5: Jonny Lee Miller spotted on the set as John Major

Dominic West and Jonny Lee Miller of the Crown were spotted as Prince Charles and Sir John Major.

The couple stepped out on the set of Herefordshire to film the fifth season of the hit Netflix drama and to film a ballroom scene in Balmoral.

Actor Jonny wore a gray wig and glasses when he stepped into the role of former prime minister.

It’s the first time the 48-year-old has appeared in the role after being announced earlier this year.

The next season of the Netflix time drama The Crown, due to be released in 2022, will take up the portrayal of the royal family in the 1990s.

Sir John was Prime Minister from 1990 to 1997. He previously served as Chancellor of the Exchequer and Foreign Minister under the Thatcher administration from 1987 to 1990.

Tony Blair is also expected to star in upcoming episodes.

Lesley Manville also starred as Princess Margaret, while Marcia Warren played the Queen Mother and Emma Laird Craig starred as Sarah Ferguson.

It comes after The Crown released a first look at actors Dominic and Elizabeth Debicki as Prince Charles and Princess Diana in season five.

The couple takes over from Josh O’Connor and Emma Corrin than older iterations of the Royals.

The cast list is doing well since the show recently launched the first official look by Imelda Staunton how Queen Elizabeth II.

Other actors who will star in season 5 of The Crown include Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip and Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret.

It has also been reported that The Crown cast James Murray to play Prince Andrew on the Netflix show’s final two seasons.

According to reports from The Sun, Cutting It star James will play Prince Andrew, replacing Tom Byrne, who has starred in previous series.

The crown has 24 nominations for the 2021 Emmy Awardsto take place in September.

The crown can be seen on Netflix.
