A HEREFORDSHIRE hotel has launched a new package for mothers of the bride to help relieve stress after the wedding.
Holme Lacy House in Hereford is now offering mamamoon getaways for mothers of the bride to give them the opportunity to take a break after a wedding.

The wind-up packages were announced in response to over a third of the bride’s mothers saying they needed a relaxing vacation after the wedding, and half said planning a wedding was extremely stressful.
Mamamoon breaks include spa access, gin and wine tastings, and free breakfast and dinner, as well as stress-relieving activities like yoga and archery.
Fern Chapman, General Manager at Holme Lacey House, said: “It has been so hard to see the number of times couples have postponed their big day in the past 18 months, but suffice it to say it has not been easy for mothers of the bride either .
“That’s why we wanted to recognize her heroic achievements – to be a shoulder to cry on when appointments are postponed, to organize table plans with military precision, and to be the voice of wisdom in a wedding shop. This is certainly not an easy task.
“That’s why we created Mamamoons. It’s an opportunity for the bride’s mothers to put their feet up and be served with hands and feet.”
